OUR STORY
Tichaidza (Rose) Nhopi Chiteve is the Founder and President of Sisters Awake For Action (SAFA).
Rose met the Lord in her early twenties and had a deep desire to know more about the Lord, and the Word. The desire to know more about the Lord continued to grow in her and led her to enroll in Bible school.
“I still remember that passion so well. I did not enroll in Bible school as a way to enter ministry but simply to learn more about the Lord".

Rose is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) specializing in Leadership and Education, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
Rose is a registered healthcare professional and a minister of the gospel. She has over 25 years of experience ministering to women and children in Africa, Mauritius, and the USA.
She is the founder and president of Sisters Awake For Action (SAFA).
Her passion for transforming community impact led to the establishment of SAFA in 2020. SAFA is a faith-based nonprofit operating in the humanitarian sector to address urgent community needs in rural Africa. Its work restores hope and dignity to many indigenous families in remote villages that lack access to running water or electricity. SAFA promotes life-sustaining projects by installing water wells and empowering communities.
She is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, having been married for over 30 years.
Today, SAFA is made up of a team of sisters and brothers from different cultures and backgrounds united by the Lord to carry out this mission.
